This reminds me that I tried to hire a cartoonist for Kotaku back in the day to do a regular piece of satire for the site. I’m surprised no gaming site is doing that these days. It was shot down by Nick, who also constantly told me not to cover the business of gaming and that reviews needed scores. Eventually this all sort of built up and he fired me. I didn’t quit because I had a clause that made him pay out my contract if he fired me.
