It’s our final #QuestForACure event of the year tonight at the University of Hawai’i Cancer Center. We have a great speaker lineup providing the latest information about prostate cancer to members of the local community. @UHCancerCenter


Paul Mizue of Us Too presents Dr. Charles Kim with a certificate recognizing his decades of service as a urologist in Hawai‘i.
Dr. Brenda Hernandez, University of Hawai’i Cancer Center Researcher, speaks about Hawai’i-specific prostate cancer statistics, including ethnic disparities in staging at diagnosis.
Dr. Thomas Sanford, urologist and clinical member of the UH Cancer Center, speaks about focal therapy for prostate cancer.
Dr. Marc Coel speaks about the role of nuclear medicine, including radium therapy, in prostate cancer treatment. Dr. Ryon Nakasone explains the role germline mutations In prostate cancer.
