I've preached on #PalmSunday 10-12 times over the years. Every time I preach a version of same sermon: we must confront the anti-Semitism and anti-Judaism in our world, the Gospels, our Holy Week liturgies, and call out the anti-Judaism in our own world. 1/

The Episcopal Church Clergy Compensation Report is out, and it reinforces what we have known since...FOREVER. On average non-male clergy are compensated $10,000 plus less than male clergy, and less like to be rectors. A thread! 1/
Overall, non-male clergy earn an average of $10,000 less than male clergy. BUT this gap increases with size of church (Average Sunday Attendance = ASA). For ASA 75< gap is **only** $5k for ASA 76-140 gap is $4k 2/
