1/ Macro Thoughts 🌎

The lower than expected US CPI print for June has caused risk assets, including crypto, to rally significantly over the past 24 hours 📈

But the overall macro situation hasn’t changed, and I think that weakness in markets will continue for the rest of 2022 2/ Markets seem to be of the view that a sharp and short lived tightening cycle by the Fed will be enough to bring US inflation back to around the Fed’s 2% target. Investors also appear to be pricing in a soft landing for the economy.
