This is why Black folks are fresh out of fu@ks! We managed to vote for Harris, and we would have voted for Biden. We understood what was at stake. We knew we had to vote for our survival, not the perfect. As always, we took it seriously and spread the word within our families and communities.2/ We pushed back on MAGA nonsense when we saw it within our ranks. We made sure we voted. We did our job, but now we face the consequences of this election with everyone else. It feels like we could not have done more to convince y’all.

JILL STEIN: Purity tests for thee, but not for me.
@DrJillStein is in her third losing bid for the White House, with not a single electoral vote to her name, and she’s dragging the Green Party down with her. Hear me out…
📌 Green Party Decline: Membership peaked at 319,000 in 2004 but has dropped to 234,000 today, largely under Stein’s leadership. Of approximately 500,000 elected positions in the U.S., from school boards and township supervisors to the presidency, the Green Party holds just 149. Stein does not have the ability to lift up candidates.
📌 Political Fraud: She has no real chance at winning. Stein is barely polling at 1%, but her candidacy can still influence who wins. GOP attorneys are helping her with ballot access, and Putin boosts her by spreading disinformation about elections and Democratic candidates.
📌 Financial Hypocrisy: She rails against Big Pharma and Big Oil, but has large investments in mutual funds with holdings in fossil fuels, big banks, Big Pharma, tobacco, and defense contractors.
📌 Political Hypocrisy: She calls Netanyahu a war criminal but can’t manage to call Putin the same. She uses the Israel-Hamas war as a verbal weapon, but is hands-off when it comes to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
📌 Basic Knowledge Fail: Stein doesn’t even know how many members are in Congress—she thinks it’s 600—and plans to rely only on executive orders instead of members of Congress as allies that any president would need to get their agenda passed into law.
📌 Every 4 Years: Stein only shows up during elections to criticize Democrats, raise money, and then disappears.
📌 Smears Progressives and Moderates Alike: She’s attacked Bernie Sanders and AOC and once claimed Hillary Clinton was a bigger threat than Trump.
The Green Party needs a candidate who isn’t a spoiler and a hypocrite if it wants legitimacy or it will continue to fade away.

SPRINGFIELD: GROUND ZERO FOR THE NEW BIG LIE—and it’s endangering lives.
In 2016, Pizzagate got out of hand because we let it go. It seemed so crazy—who could believe it? But we were wrong. Let’s not let that happen with this conspiracy theory.
The new big lie about Haitians eating pets started with a single false post. ONE POST! Neo-Nazis, Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and other right-wingers ran with it.
Watch this news video for the backstory and to correct the record…
(1 of 2)
Yesterday, I posted this NBC News segment reporting that Erika Lee, the woman behind the viral post that claimed her neighbor’s cat was kidnapped by Haitian neighbors, deleted her post and said it was wrong information.
I asked for help spreading the word to correct the record, hoping it might put an end to this disinformation campaign if the truth got out, but it clearly was not enough. So many replies were hateful and spread more disinformation.
Let’s go through…

This @MSNBC segment is about mixed-race voters' take on this election. It includes people of diverse political persuasions as well.
One of the participants makes a quick comment that you might miss but shouldn’t ignore: “I never heard her identify herself as a Black woman.” He implies that Kamala Harris is being dishonest about her race because he “never heard” her say she was Black until she ran for president. That’s how effective Trump’s lie has been.
I’ll circle back on that brother in a minute, but first…
There’s an important aspect of being multiracial that I’m not seeing discussed—the cultural piece. It’s not just your DNA that affects your identity; it’s how you are raised and who raised you.
The most important person in my life is biracial. Her father passed when she was very young, so she was raised by her mom, a Black woman, along with some fabulous Black aunties who were central to her upbringing. She’s always identified as Black—not because she is in denial of her other half, but because these are her people.
We don’t know these things about people based on how they look, and they don’t owe you or anyone else an explanation.
So if they tell you who they are, or if for some reason you feel the need to know and decide to ask them, don’t be an ass about it.

🧵 FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
So I’ve noticed a lot of names being floated on cable news for @VP as well as some names being bounced around in our friend groups on Twitter/X.
I’d like to make the case for someone you might not have thought of — @DougJones
Hear me out…
Former Senator Jones is a son of the south. Black folks in the south trust him. Doug was one of the first Senators, and the only one from the south to say ‘Black Lives Matter’ on the Senate floor. No fear of speaking up for what’s right!
He organized the annual reading of MLK on the Senate floor that still continues to this today.
‘We cannot let this moment pass’: Doug Jones also invoked a push for racial justice in first 2020 campaign ad.
And let’s be upfront about the uncomfortable part — white voters in the Midwest would feel more reassured by him.
Listen to him here.
1.
He can prosecute JD Vance like no one else.
Like Kyle Whitmire said, Doug Jones is everything Vance claims to be, but isn’t.
Jones would be the perfect partner with Kamala Harris in prosecuting convicted felon, Donald Trump, on the political stage. 2.

According to @PabloReports, the reporter who found them Tuesday afternoon, Twitter/X took down his posts with the documents because they included the donor’s personal contact info. Private info has now been redacted from the docs included here and in the🧵

I attended the Biden event in Los Angeles last night. Fantastic, but it made me think about a few things.
I’ve been around a minute. Lived through several Presidential races. I remember not being excited about the candidates, but I have never in my life fixed my lips to say, I’m not voting because of it. Neither did my grandparents who survived Jim Crow and were not always welcomed at the polls.
I don’t understand folks who are saying that today.
Your top issue isn’t being talked about enough or going the way you think it should? Let’s survive now and live to fight another day. But first, look beyond what you’re seeing covered by the media, because Biden is not getting the same coverage that Trump is getting. And much of that coverage is skewed. It’s likely your issue is being worked on and you have been heard — so look deeper!
We don’t have to invite the candidates over for tea and crumpets, but staying home when we have the Supreme Court that we have, is short-sided and a disservice to those of us who see Trump as the number one danger that he is promising to be.
NO CHOICE — IS A CHOICE FOR TRUMP!!!
(1 of 4)
The Biden fundraiser event in Los Angeles last night was so well done! The highlight was the conversation with Biden, Obama and Kimmel.
One thing struck me above all — Biden and Obama spent a fair amount of time addressing the Supreme Court crisis.
Biden basically said, the only way out of this is to re-elect him. Agreed! We keep hearing this, but Biden said there will likely be two new appointments for the next President. No quick fix.
I think that’s up for interpretation. Definitely conjecture.
My take — Justices Thomas and Alito will only resign under Trump, but they are up there in years so anything can happen.
What’s certain — we need to think in terms of prevention. NO MORE TRUMP JUDGES. We are fucked as it is. Also, picking up a seat on our side or theirs is not all this is about. It’s generational. Can we survive two 40 year-old, upside-down, flag flying, Alitos?
Whichever president has the opportunity to nominate, they will nominate YOUNG.
My photos and videos suck. I wasn’t far back but at a bad angle. I really soaked it up. Sharing a couple here and in the 🧵

Clearly there’s work to do, but I don’t believe for one second that Black voters are going to vote for Trump in significantly larger numbers than we did in 2020, which was minimal.
However, there is a valid concern about Black voters sitting this one out that should be raising alarm bells. There’s a lot of important points made in this segment, and I’d like to add a few….
Sitting this one out hurts us and helps no one. If you don’t think the Biden-Harris administration is tuned into the issues the community cares about, or they’re not helping with the issues that affect us, get curious and look into what they’ve been doing on your own because the media is not going to tell us about it.
Look for resources that have been put in place that will benefit you, your families and let folks know. They’re out there, but aren’t waiting at our doorstep.
Also the media is the same as just about everything else in life. The negative is an essay, the positive is a sentence. The negative catches our attention more and Trump is a master at that. He’s playing us.
Many don’t think we should vote for a candidate because we’re against the other candidate. I get it, but opposition is one huge reason why our vote has been so powerful for generations. Remember, Republicans don’t want us to vote for a reason. Not only will Trump not help us, he will harm us with intention.
Sharing some things in the 🧵 that the Biden-Harris administration have done. Things that we don’t hear about on the nightly news.
Speaking of Detroit. Check out this separate thread of #KamalaHarris’s remarks highlighting what the Administration is doing to help businesses and folks in the community.

There’s a lot to be disgusted by here, but do not overlook the fact that Christian nationalist language is being used to justify the death of a non-binary student — with absolute authority & confidence.

During a public legislative panel forum, Oklahoma State Sen Tom Woods (R) said:
“I represent a constituency that doesn’t want that filth in Oklahoma. You know we are a religious state. We are going to fight and keep that filth out of the state of Oklahoma because we’re a Christian state…”
This was in reply to a constituent calling out that a 16-year-old (Nex Benedict) died after being beaten at Owasso High School. She also linked Nex’s beating to Oklahoma’s anti-LGBTQ legislation.

AFRICAN AMERICANS WILL NOT BE THE REASON FOR A TRUMP WIN‼️
📌 No Democrat running for president has won the white vote since 1964.
Pay attention to the way we vote, not the polls. Despite the narrative the polls are painting, Black folks are still the most loyal voting block in the Democratic Party. Black women #1, Black men #2.
Let’s talk about it…

What about Black voters who are turned off by what they believe Joe Biden hasn’t gotten done? Has he forgotten us?
The truth is — President Biden is not king, but has proven he’s on our side and has taken action along with VP Harris to get results despite Republican obstruction.

It happens to Black women in Florida too‼️
Anya Cook had a pre-term rupture of the membrane, which causes significant complications. “[The doctor] told me in that very moment that you can get an infection, possibly sepsis and die. The nurse asked if she could pray for me.”
According to Florida’s abortion ban, she wasn’t sick enough yet and was sent home. She ended up delivering her daughter, in a hair salon toilet. As she was rushed to the hospital, paramedics told her she was bleeding out.
🚨 In April of 2022 Florida passed a 15-week abortion ban. A year later, the ban was expanded to 6-weeks.
🧵
Black women are 2.6X more likely to die during pregnancy & childbirth. They report being dismissed, overlooked & ignored during childbirth & by medical institutions generally when it comes to maternal care. Add that to Florida’s heartbeat ban — disaster! theguardian.com/us-news/2023/j…

If you don’t know what Project 2025 is — you should. Everyone needs to check this out. Keep it. Remember it.
Project 2025, simply put, is the Republican playbook for taking away our rights if they win the presidency.
The plan is to reshape the executive branch of the U.S. government, giving the President ultimate power while stripping power from the other branches & government agencies.
January 6 was a practice run. This time will be quieter.

Secretary of State Blinken addresses PM Netanyahu, the Israeli people & the world.
“The people of Israel have long and rightly prided themselves on their self-reliance, on their ability to defend themselves, even when the odds are stacked against them. The message that I bring to Israel is this…
You may be strong enough on your own to defend yourself, but as long as America exists, you will never ever have to. We will always be there by your side."

The shady $2 billion Kusher Saudi deal —
Kushner oversaw foreign policy in the middle East (with no foreign policy expertise or even a proper security clearance) and played a leading role defending Crown Prince Mohammed in the brutal killing and dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi.
6 months after leaving the White House, Jared Kushner secured a $2 billion investment from a fund led by the Saudi crown prince, despite objections from the fund's advisers.
Reminder; one reason his security clearance was denied was because Kushner and family owed $1.2 billion for a loan on 666 Fifth Avenue, which was coming due. This made him vulnerable to blackmail.

Just finished watching the Sunday shows and I need to vent.
Folks need to wake TF up! The media is playing us…AGAIN. According to the Sunday shows, Biden is too old, but Trump who’s living in delusion, lies and literally wants to ban the Constitution in order to save his own skin is just fine. Do people not realize what’s at stake here?
🧵
I’m so over hearing about Biden’s age. He wasn’t a young man when we voted for him the first time. This is a man who’s running all over the planet engaging in diplomacy, negotiating with world leaders — our allies. Trump was cozier with our adversaries.
Trump was more than just a little cozy with Putin. Remember the outrage we felt when we heard him at Helsinki? He wanted to do away with NATO, Biden has made it so much stronger.

It’s not our imagination. Hate crimes are skyrocketing.
It doesn’t take any great insight to know why large cities are seeing the largest increases — that’s where the most diversity is. White nationalists are coming for POC, Jews and members of the LGBTQ+ community where they’re in the greatest numbers.
🚩 Los Angeles — the nation's 2nd largest city, had the most reported hate crimes — a record 609, with 195 of those classified as anti-Black, 98 as anti-gay (male), 91 as anti-Jewish and 88 anti-Latino.
🚩 Chicago — the third-largest city, had the biggest increase — 84.6%, followed by Austin, Texas, at 58.6%.
While neo-Nazis are mostly cowards. some of these fools have their faces exposed — hopefully their employers take note.
