Ignore for a second how ignorant and desperate this is and look at what Democrats are willing to do to win:
Facts? We’ll make them.
Laws? Don’t need them.
Logic? Emotions will carry the day.
Lie? Who doesn’t?
Opponents? Besmirch them. Attack at every opportunity.

Rule #1 for Democrats is to WIN at all costs and for decades this has been achievable largely by creating a meme and repeating it in unison with allies in the press until the desired result was achieved.
