So, the arguing about the NYC piece is slowly subsiding. It feels good to be indignant about something, and thousands of Jewish children being denied an education is a good thing to be indignant about.

But I think it’s time for people outside that world to think a bit more. If a chassidish couple from Brooklyn said “you know, we want our children to get a better education than we got, Modern Orthodoxy got it right, let’s switch”—how many of our communities would be ready to have them?
