There’s a reason the Doherty Institute slapped a massive warning sign on this one – it assumes optimal track and trace (ie. that there is no capacity limit on contract tracing no matter how many cases or exposure sites). 🧵
Doherty notes in their paper that this is likely unrealistic because ‘public health capacity is finite’ as I’m sure any of our hard-working contract tracers will attest
