Some wards are going to be split multiple times if Clarke's proposed map passes as is. The 18th, which includes Fishtown & Kensington, is split three ways. Part in the 1st, the 5th snakes its way through Fishtown all the way up to Norris street. The northern part in the 7th. The 42nd ward, a majority Hispanic ward, covering parts of Feltonville and Olney is also split 3 ways between the 7th, 8th, and 9th districts.

Keep in mind these numbers are counting state incarcerated people where they live, so they'll be slightly different than the U.S. Census numbers that City Council used for #redistricting. Overall, there was little change in racial demographics. The 1st district became a little bit more white. It was already a majority white district. Hispanic and Black are down in the proposed map.
