(2/6) Granzow was actually the former brother-in-law of Günther Quandt, patriarch of what is today Germany's wealthiest clan, part of which controls BMW & are the largest CDU donors. In 1921, Quandt appointed Granzow as the caretaker of his estate Severin in northeast Germany.
