Was my Polling Unit Rigged? I finally have answers (1 of 6)

So on Saturday 25th, I became a self-appointed evaluator of the presidential election process, at least for the 8 polling units, I covered.

Read my detailed record of events here (2 of 6) After the voting, I waited for the collation, with the physical counting (town crier style). Here is the count of the votes for the winning candidate of Polling Unit 28.

Was this u as a kid? “...My co debaters, I hope with these few points of mine I have convinced u that X is better than Y, thank u... claps!”

Debating is a powerful but often neglected tool in business these days. Stop seminar retreats, have structured debates instead.

(1 of 4) Intense open debates about critical issues with your teams can be both thrilling and highly productive.

Leaders must build a debating culture in their organisations. You must be genuinely prepared to lose your case by openly admitting when you do.

@NaijaFlyingDr Interesting comments here:
1. He didn’t build from scratch.

All businesses start from friends and family funding, all! What isn’t from scratch is when you inherit the business and then expand it. Having easier access to start up funding still qualifies it as from scratch. @NaijaFlyingDr 2. He schooled in Cairo!

So what happened to all the Egyptians that grew up, schooled, worked and have businesses in Cairo, why aren’t any of them as wealthy?

Your customers are NOT always right.
Talking to your customers and getting to know their likes and dislikes about your product or service is important. But you will be wrong to completely rely on this to guaranty your continued existence as a business. Talking to customers enables you to incrementally innovate your product or service. But they cannot give you that crystal ball to enable you foresee disruptive innovation. Steve Jobs once said, the iPod couldn’t have come from a focus group.

WHATSAPP RULES FOR GROUPS

Are you a member of some truely annoying whatsapp groups that forget the reason they were created?

I was pissed one morning on the crap being posted on my estate resident whatsapp group so I decided to post a set of rules. Feel free to use them. (1 of 9)

Dear All, I would like to sincerely appreciate the Chairman for creating this group. I have not posted a single thing since its creation mainly because of the the completely unnecessary posts some of us make here. It is dangerous to ignore the aim of this group.

Habit Audit & your Accountability Partner for 2019

So the year is about to end. Do yourself a Favour, take sometime to write out the bad habits you had this year (e.g spending hours on your phone, hours on television, never setting goals). Document the estimated time & stress savings you would have by stoping them.

List life changing habits that would be great to start this year: one hour of study from 4 to 5am each day, monthly goal setting, investing X monthly in an investment club, sleeping at 9pm each day etc

You need just 20 focused hours to learn a new skill. That is just 45mins a day for a month, you can do one set in the morning to work and one in the evening on your way back and completely learn 2 new things a month, that is 24 new things a year. Go ahead and transform ur life. How to do it (Step 1 of 4)
1. Deconstruct the Skill
This will help you decide what part of the skills will actually help you get to what you want, then you can practice those first. So practice the most important things first.
