It’s increasingly obvious to me that my worst fears were correct from the start.
The entire Hamas raid was deliberately allowed, maybe covertly encouraged, by powers perhaps even larger than Israel to instigate WW3 across the entire Middle East for two reasons:
1. Iran is likely about to get a nuclear weapon, at which point Israel and the US will lose massive bargaining power in the region. War has to happen eventually, so why not before Iran goes nuclear?
