Ok so guys, this food situation. Reason wid me likkle.
Our hero farmers grew a whole heap of food for tourists. We are so lucky to have farmers who can do that. Because they can feed us.
Right now, though, no tourists. So there’s lots of food that needs to be dealt with.
If you notice @floydgreenja has been trying. And plenty of us are benefiting from boxes, delivery and all these wonderful things that I hope stays from here on out.
But there’s more and he’s made an appeal for help. Specifically vehicles to transport, storage capacity + money.

Big and serious.
When I agreed to *donate* months of my time - and not work otherwise - to #teamshaggy4kids it was because there were 5 ICU beds at Bustamante.
That’s not a typo. FIVE.
That clearly cannot work.
To my understanding, the only way to get more beds is to 1) expand the building or 2) move the ICU altogether. Both of those would have to be done by the state. And that’s more than money, it is management etc.
I stood in the ICU. I’ve seen it. There is no space. Zero.
