The reality of trading is that most of the time, literally over 95% of your time spent during the day, you do nothing, you just wait

My daily routine is simple, I wake up, mark the levels where I know I want to sell or buy, set alerts and just keep myself busy with other things If you’re swing trading, and you’re already in a trade, you now have to do nothing and let it play out

The opportunity to buy something when there’s forced sellers or sell it when there’s forced buyers comes only a few times per day, if even (sometimes can take days or weeks)

Until 20.5± is lost on a closing/stalling basis, I don't see a reason to panic from a higher timeframe perspective
The monthly isn't so actionable, but buying a 20k retest can turn out to be a really attractive trade idea if other timeframes align $BTC weekly
Rallied nicely into resistance, was a good call to take profits on margin positions there

20.6-21k is a midpoint where the price can react and shift, but I try to not "diddle the middle" as Cred says
But worth following that area on lower timeframes

Think chop continues before further rally until we top around 30-34k~

Only holding BTC spot atm and waiting for smtg interesting to happen before I consider any margin positioning to long/hedge

Trade if you know what you're doing
Have balls to admit if you don't and avoid chop Control yourself and avoid doing dumb things like:

* Letting a general target area affect your neutral view of a position and affect its management
* Not taking partial profits
* Leveraging to the tits in chop
* Trading out of boredom

I wanted to write another thread about $BTC and my HTF view, but there's really not much to write about as things are just ranging.
Will just write a quick one about why I allocated 25% of my cash to $BTC and ramble a bit. From the ATH of 69k we are now down about 70%.
Other alts are down way more.
I believe most of the down move that is worth chasing is over, unless we get another leg up that will be a clear short.
The "easy & big" part of shorting in the bear market is over.

First thing you'll need is a strategy.

This is honestly the hardest part, you have to find a mechanical strategy that can be turned into an indicator on tradingview, or just use an indicator that already exists.
I'd suggest backtesting it a few times to see it really works, too.

How much is your portfolio down from its ath? i had an ethereum long (around may 21) while also being spot long ethereum, my portfolio peaked then, but i didnt tp enough, never managed to reach that ath, not even 100% sure how much it reached
since that peak, i am down around 30% or so
but that peak was really, for 24 hours±
