Only 5 Republicans joined 50 Democrats in ruling Trump’s impeachment trial to be constitutional.

If 5 is all we could get to say the trial is even legal, then there’s no way we’ll get the 17 necessary to join the Democrats to convict and bar him from future office.
At this point, it should be obvious to anyone hoping that the Republican Party could move on from Trump that it’s not going to happen. He has corrupted the party to its core. There is no saving the GOP from the clutches of Trump’s grievance-centered populism.

Stop saying “Facebook data breach” or leak. There was no breach. No leak.
The user data in question was collected legally in accordance with Facebook policies and user settings. That the database was transferred to Cambridge Analytica was a mere developer agreement violation.
Facebook policies allow apps to collect massive amounts of data from your profile. Ostensibly that info is supposed to be used for providing you with a customized service… in reality that service usually ends up being tailored advertisements.
