NEW: Docs from @SecretService show $254K in spending at Trump-owned properties in first 6 mos. of Trump @WhiteHouse. FOIA obtained via @PropOTP. This is different than how much the Secret Service incurs on protecting the president + family (annual budget for that is $750M). Over 6-month period from Jan to June '17, nearly $170K was spent at Trump golf clubs, incl. Mar-a-Lago, more than $45K was spent at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas and nearly $39K went to the Trump International Hotel in Washington. Reminder: @realDonaldTrump still owns his company.

@realDonaldTrump’s latest financial disclosure report has a bunch of interesting figures (almost all conflating gross revenue with net profit) but one “inactive” hotel deal through T Express LLC clearly started after he entered office, in 2017: Noteworthy: 5x increase in @Trump’s online retail business, through TrumpStore.com which @propublica wrote about last year: propublica.org/article/a-guid…

1/ We published a story today about @WhiteHouse & gov't spending at Mar-a-Lago, @realDonaldTrump's Florida estate. To do it, we went through 501 pages of receipts + emails provided by transparency group @PropOTP. 1/ Remember “All County Building Supply & Maintenance”? The @nytimes revealed how the Trumps’ created the company to dodge taxes. I went to @NYCMayor's office to check out the company’s regulatory filings and found something interesting. 2/ All County Building Supply & Maintenance would buy things like boilers and cleaning supplies at markups as high as 50%. Trump's sister, Maryanne, disclosed the company prior to her Senate confirmation hearing for a judgeship: nytimes.com/interactive/20…
