I've been thinking about Kevin DeYoung's critique of @bethallisonbarr's book The Making of Biblical Womanhood. It has to be unsettling to gatekeepers everywhere to have the world they invented taken apart by people who are qualified to do so. Contrast that with the evangelical women who publicly supported Zacharias AFTER the news of his abuse of Lori Anne Thompson was out - @ChristineCaine @JackieHillPerry, @sadierob, Shelly Giglio, Brooke Ligertwood, Phylicia Masonheimer and others - women who are educated, powerful
