I think for a lot of people (myself included), we expected #ThorLoveAndThunder to be the saving grace from the mediocre MCU Phase 4, because Taika had done that exact thing for the Thor film series as a whole. /1 And the movie we got destroyed that by being so shockingly meh and from not the Taika we knew from his previous filmography that it broke our collective excitement for the hope that good directors won’t get screwed over by Disney’s interference. /2

It's close to year-end and so I decided to write an appreciation thread for everyone who has impacted me in my life thus far. Ready? Aand go /1 1. @mustache_cheese. Zana has always been my go-to with good, bad and cursed memes. She has been really crucial to my growth as a person mentally, and this year marks 6 years of our friendship. Thoughtcast content for October is almost done. But I'm just very burnt out right now.
It used to be very unhealthy for me where I wracked my brain for topics every day, and none of them are good enough. I also try to get the episode edited and scheduled within /1 3-4h of recording, resulting in panic and anxiety attacks if Audacity or my laptop dies. I still do feel guilty for not writing or recording anything right now, rendering me mentally exhausted all the time. We were supposed to record tomorrow but I just don't feel ready to /2
