Prefacing this with a reminder that opinions expressed here are my own (yeah, this is going to be one of those threads)…

The recall against @mikebonin failed because the liars behind it got caught lying (more than 1-in-3 signatures invalid!) and, well, I have some thoughts... From the beginning, recall supporters arrogantly bragged that the recall was actually an attempt to harm @mikebonin’s re-election bid. So it doesn’t surprise me that they would brazenly lie about how many signatures they gathered- their goal was always slander.

Aaron Sorkin on Scott Rudin: “I couldn’t think of anyone who would benefit from my saying something...” FWIW, me & my family, who will forever grieve my brother’s suicide after the trauma Rudin inflicted on him, would have appreciated him saying something. hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-n… Future assistants, who might one day suffer the same abuse Rudin routinely inflicted but for the example Rudin’s downfall sets for other producers in a very toxic industry, also would have benefitted from Sorkin speaking up & supporting the victims Rudin traumatized.

I had a hard time reading this today, but it is important that it was written and you should share it broadly.
