Buckle-up for a story of hope, perseverance, and victory!

If you've been following me for the last few years, you know I've been working along many incredible and fierce people in my community to fight back against a MAGA & Moms for Liberty school board in Central Bucks. In 2021, many school boards were taken hostage by members of the MAGA cult and the Moms for Liberty hate group. Immediately, after they were sworn in, they went on a crusade to ban books, ban pride flags, and incite chaos and dysfunction in our district.

After I lost my election for in ‘21, I posted a quote by @pronounced_ing: "Sometimes you need to scorch everything to the ground, and start over. After the burning the soil is richer, and new things can grow. People are like that, too. They start over. They find a way.” 🧵 For two years, MAGA & Moms for Liberty in Central Bucks used this quote to harass me and my friends. You see, since many of them don’t read, they lack the ability to analyze a quote. So, of course, they read it the way they wanted to. Incorrectly. Dishonestly.

I was a teacher when I decided to run for the CB school board. It was March 2021, I felt strongly that I could help our schools make decisions in terms of curriculum, pedagogy - just a current teacher's perspective on the board. Something they didn't have. So, I decided to run. I had no interest in politics outside of paying attention to what was going on around us. I NEVER wanted to be an elected official, and definitely never a politician. I wanted to serve the community. Everyone, students, parents, teachers...I just wanted to help.

A local MAGA millionaire, Paul Martino, whose wife, Aarati Martino, is running for our school board, has surrounded himself with every member of Moms for Liberty in Bucks.

Together, they are weaving a web of lies about their opponents.

It's so gross, but that's who they are. Paul and Aarati Martino are working with people outside the district to manufacture stories that don't exist and create narratives only their most brainwashed conspiracy theorists will believe. This is what happens when you realize no one is buying your brand of hate.

Yesterday, local stochastic terrorists, Moms for Liberty, invited the "Billboard" guy (the one who uses their money to travel across the country preaching bigotry and hate) to Doylestown, so together they can threaten and harass our children and community members.

Protect Bucks PAC members and their friends encouraged his visit and attempted to incite violence against our kids, their parents, and people who run this program and for our youth. This program has been around for over 15 years. It is a support group for LGBTQ+ kids.

Recently, I've been interviewed several times about Moms for Liberty and their hostile takeover of our school board and community. Every single time, I'm asked the same question:

How has this divisiveness affected your community?

My answer is simple: Your premise is wrong. 🧵 There is no "divisiveness" in our community.

There's far-right extremism attempting to rewrite history and erase marginalized groups.

There are astroturfed groups, funded by those who aim to destroy public education.

There's an effort to weaponize parenthood.

This is a story about how @CBSDSchools' School Board President, Dana Hunter, used her friend @jcwcbsd to dox me. 🧵

Some of you may remember that the MAGA members on the CBSD School Board hired a PR firm, @DevinePartners, to help spin their hateful policies. A month ago @DevinePartners quit, and Dana Hunter sent one of her infamous gaslighting emails to the district accusing community members of harassment and threats of Devine’s clients. This was a lie.

This website was in part created by the same woman who said, "The vaccine itself is now attacking the blood of people...creating abnormal proteins not normally found in blood. Vaccinated blood is dark in color...Our blood is the light of G-d, is it any wonder that Satan...

...would attack the blood. By the way if you've seen the videos of people shining a light on the injection site on their skin, it's called luciferin, which is a bioluminescent compound. Lucifer is the name of Satan, which means light bearer. Is it a coincidence? I don't think so.

Shannon O'Kane Harris, the woman who publicly said that Satan is in the Covid vaccine and peddled other outrageous conspiracy theories, created a website about banning books, bought yard signs advertising her conspiracy website, and polluted our entire district with them. A gift. She praises two R candidates, Dana Hunter and Aarati Martino on her site, and of course Abe Lucabaugh, the superintendent.

Actually, there is something we can do. Every person who works in a school building should stop coming to work. Every single one. All across the country. Stall the economy and demand sensible gun laws. Until they pass, we don't work. Reminder to all: I do not debate with people who won't do anything to protect our children. I will block. I don't care about your opinion. Children keep dying. Teachers keep dying. Enough is enough.

For those unfamiliar with Title IX: Discrimination on the basis of sex is prohibited by Title IX...This includes discrimination based on...sex stereotypes (such as treating persons differently because they do not conform to sex-role expectations...)

The @CBSDSchools started its behind-the-scenes crusade against LGBTQIA students. The district quietly has done the following 🧵:

1. As I mentioned earlier this week, allegedly, the superintendent has asked several teachers to remove Pride flags from their classrooms. The directive came verbally, since administrators and SB members are no longer communicating via email due to the number of RTKs far-right groups have requested in the past. Now that the far-right has found its home on our SB, they don't want records of their agenda.

I've been asked often why teachers are fleeing from the classroom and while I can't speak for all teachers, many of our reasons appear to be universal. A thread. 🧵 Teachers are leaving education for many reasons. Prior to the pandemic, the system was already very much broken, but teachers were able to hold all the pieces together, often at the expense of their own families, their own mental health, and their own personal lives.
