@tomaspetricek mostly happy with how hazel looks atm (ciurrent look is collaborative effort between @dm_0ney and myself. after taking a more maximalist approach in fructure (github.com/disconcision/f…), hazel is more additive... erring on the side of just rendering the text @tomaspetricek@dm_0ney outlines, especially high contrast ones, add a lot of the same visual noise as text. try without outline at all, then see where the points of ambiguity are. then add back selective, possibly partial outlines, probably fainter (try a variant on the bkg color), possibly curved

gonna be presenting a short paper @vlhcc in rome in september! all credit to collaborators @dm_0ney, @dedbox & @neurocy. this surveys initial results from our attempts to emphasize human factors when integrating code completion/repair suggestions from diverse sources (1/4)
we outline a conceptual architecture for programming assistants, where suggestion synthesizers are informed by varied static & dynamic data including types & live values, and break down some ways in which suggestions might be collated and contextualized for programmers (2/4)

my first published credit! i was a relative latecomer to this project, but was able to build on the work of @neurocy , @dm_0ney, @NickMCThree, @ravi_chugh et al through my contribution of enabling users to write their own live GUIs within the Hazel language/editor (GIFS BELOW!)
