As we prepare for the Ryan Pace Bowl, and Matt Nagy’s last home game, I’m reflecting on (IMO) Nagy’s biggest mistake in how he approached 2021. He never realized that Justin Fields’ development was paramount for the organization (present and future). 1/ Fields was his lifeline and he neglected to understand that.

Instead Nagy remained stubbornly focused on his “system” that had churned through multiple QBs and produced the same paltry results since the end of the 2018 season.
