You report your employer, police roll up and violently lock them in a cage for 24-48 hours until they can get bailed out, then they get sentenced to prison and the business goes bankrupt. You're still not paid. @Hightower915 @Tuplet @bstonkittymafia @TorEkelandPLLC @Greg_Sideyr In prison, your employer is violently assaulted by guards and inmates alike. They exit with PTSD and "felon" label that makes any future employment or credit from a bank almost impossible. You're still not paid.

Something I've learned while in law school is about the social construction of crime. I work in a legal clinic on wage theft cases, where employers have "improperly paid" workers by not paying, paying below min wage, withholding overtime, paid sick time, etc. 1/ Most theft is wage theft.
