25 years ago this week, I received a call from @StuartGWhite and a letter from @jcohen570 to say I’d been accepted to @MIT.

I keep the letter in my desk drawer and look at it once in a while with that same incredulity I did when I first opened it. Image A week later, Joe Carens of UofT called to say I’d been accepted and asked if would more money could pull me away from MIT.

Also, he said, “Jenny really wants you to come to Toronto.” Jennifer Nedelsky was my favourite prof at UofT. Bold play Joe.
