Food for thought: before you waste time arguing with a troll, or get triggered by some hot take on Twitter (or FB), remember what makes these platforms tick in the first place. If you ever see a data dump from socmed, you quickly realize: it didn't matter exactly what people were arguing about. You can't detect profundity or banality. The only measureable thing is that they were arguing (or not). Engagement in whatever form, is what drives this place.

FYI former troll, ongoing AMA. Try to be civil though. Rare glimpse into the heart of the beast:
reddit.com/r/Philippines/… Thread is gone. Comments are still there though.

Whether legit or not, the fact that these voices are leaking out is interesting.

Have a good morning.

Some people were asking for evidence of my claim that socmed affects rage. A few papers to pour over here. Part of ongoing research work on disinfo for me. (Feel free to chip in your own related literature). This is just a list and I don't necessarily agree with all of them. Facebook news use is correlated with participation in political discourse. Moderated by political interest and conflict avoidance.

If you are using an older SMART wifi, FYI. I've discovered proof that China is spying on us. (Steps follow). I was editing my mom's website when I found a random script attached to the front page.
