Terminally ill adults ( end of Life) bill. My thoughts. Any bill should be about ensuring great palliative care for everyone at their most vulnerable time , not deliberately and unnecessarily ending someone’s life prematurely. 1.
There is no legal right to palliative care or end of life care in the Uk though there is a right to a midwife at birth. GPs can struggle to arrange palliative end of life care at home as Heath Boards and Social Work departments are not obliged to provide carers or nurses 2.
