Did you know that in DC, domestic workers are the only group of workers excluded from DC’s Human Rights Act, which protects workers from discrimination on the job? 🧵 In order to right this wrong and guarantee domestic workers – who often face workplace discrimination – basic legal rights, the DC Council must pass a #DomesticWorkersBillofRights.

On Tuesday, a gunman shot and killed eight people in the Metro-Atlanta area. Six of those people were Asian women.

We know enough to know this: This is anti-Asian violence. This is gendered-violence. This is anti-immigrant violence. This is white supremacy.
