I’m a doctor with an expertise in stress and resilience. I’ve also worked in refugee health with @WHO. I want to caution us against glorifying the trauma of the Ukrainian people. 🧵 (1/5) Highlighting the resilience of Ukrainians is extremely important to boost morale but let’s not paint a caricature at the expense of their mental health. They are rightfully, deeply suffering right now. It’s the start of a long journey.
