Because the Great Barrington people are claiming policy victory today, I want to get down a few thoughts that are in danger of falling through the memory hole (1/) The idea that "focused protection" as endorsed by Kulldorf, Bhattacharya, et al is the new US policy is not true. Their proposed policy was a hodge podge of stuff that we were already doing and of things that were absolutely bonkers (e.g., only hiring LTC staff w/ COVID ABs).
