Karolina Muchova przegrała w 1. rundzie Wimbledonu z Jule Niemeier.
Muchova z Niemeier zagrały dopiero w czwartek.

Tomasz Wiktorowski, coach of Iga Swiatek @iga_swiatek after match with Coco Gauff:
"It's good that this hall was filled with more fans. This is a good sign for the organizers before the next matches. It's also nice for the players to be appreciated."
Match with Coco:
"It would seem that this match doesn’t have a importance but I think otherwise. It was important and although the result looks very smooth, it was not, especially in first set. In second Iga had control. First set was close and Iga did not avoid a few mistakes"

Tomasz Wiktorowski, coach of Iga Swiatek @iga_swiatek after match with Garcia:
"Iga played a very good match today. I am very pleased with how she was able to react to the speed of the ball and change directions. She did not give in to pressure from her rival”
„Iga had to focus on proper serve: on changing the rhythm, direction and rotation. I am pleased with the way she did it. If this serves were monotonous, problems would arise. These were moments anyway, because Garcia is a great returner”

Iga @iga_swiatek for polish media after win with Garcia:
„I felt pressure. Caro is an opponent who likes to put pressure. I thought that I actually only need to improve the quality of first serve. I concentrated on that. When it came to a longer game I would have more control”
WTA Finals in Poland:
„In terms of sports, it would be demanding for me. I would have to put four times as much energy into concentration to focus on what is happening on the court. However, I am absolutely in favor of it. I've always wanted to promote tennis in Poland”
