한국의 거의 모든 학교에 텔레그램 딥페이크 성 범죄 채팅방이 있는 것이 드러났습니다. 남자들은 텔레그램 채팅방에 있는 딥페이크 Ai 봇을 이용해 음란물에 여성 지인의 사진을 합성합니다. 그리고 피해자를 모욕하고 비하는 발언을 일삼으며 여성 지인의 신상 정보와 딥페이크로 만들어진 성적인 사진을 공유합니다. 현재 추정되는 가해자는 이미 최소 수십만명을 넘었습니다. 20만명, 40만명의 참여자가 있는 텔레그램 딥페이크 범죄 채팅방 역시 존재합니다.

대다수의 가해자와 피해자는 같은 학교에 다니는 미성년자 입니다. 그러나 군대, 교사 등의 직업군에도 이런 일이 있기 때문에 성인 가해자와 피해자도 있는 것으로 드러났습니다.

또한 피해자 중에는 가해자들의 가족들도 있습니다. 어떤 텔레그램 딥페이크 범죄 채팅방은 입장 조건으로 엄마, 자매 같은 여성 가족의 신체 사진을 몰래 찍어서 보내거나 가족의 신상을 제공하라고 요구하기 때문 입니다.

1. 딥페이크 기술을 이용해 유명인의 포르노 영상 제작하는 것은 수년간 전세계적으로 지속되어 왔습니다. 과거에 한국에서도 딥페이크 기술을 이용한 범죄사건가 있었던 적이 있습니까? 또한 입건됐는지 이십니까?

딥페이크 ai 기술이 있기 전까지는 “아헤가오”로 여성의 사진을 수정해 배포하고 협박했었다. 텀블러, 트위터, 디스코드, 텔레그램으로 옮겨가며 합성기술이 더 정교해지고 쉬워졌을 뿐, 과거에도 존재했었다. 디지털 성범죄는 한국에서 매우 가벼운 처벌을 받기 때문에, 징역형이 드물다.

한국에는 오래 전부터 이런 불법합성 성범죄가 만연하게 존재해 왔으며 가해자들은 이를 ‘지인 능욕’이라고 불렀습니다. 단지 이런 범죄가 포토샵에서 ai로 바뀌어 더 간단해 졌을 뿐 입니다. (저와 같이 페미니스트 단체에서 일해 보지 못한 평범한 한국 여성들은 이런 문제나 심각성을 몰라서 이번 사건이 매우 큰 충격 일 수 있습니다.)

딥페이크 기사(2018년):


대표적인 사건으로는 최근 일어난 서울대 텔레그램 딥페이크 단체 채팅방 사건이 있습니다. 한국의 최고 명문대로 여겨지는 대학에 동문 약 60명의 사진을 불법합성해 큰 논란이 되었습니다. 1심 선고는 8월 28일 일어났는데 가해자 중 한명은 5년형을 받았습니다. 이는 매우 이례적인 일로 최근 여성들이 딥페이크 사건이 큰 이슈가 되어 여성들이 분노하고 페미니스트들이 이를 국제사회에 알리자 한국 법원이 여론을 의식한 것으로 여겨집니다.

누구나 피해자가 될 수 있다. 인스타그램 같은 sns에 올린 사진 뿐만 아니라 학교 졸업사진, 사원증 사진 등 일상적인 모든 사진이 텔레그램에서 불법합성에 악용되었다. 사진 한장이면 누구나 피해자가 될 수 있다.

모든 사람들이 피해자가 될 수 있습니다. 한 피해자는 가해자가 지갑에서 신분증 사진을 촬영하고 딥페이크 성착취물을 만들어서 피해자가 되었다고 합니다. 졸업사진, SNS에 올린 모든 사진 등이 대상이 되므로, 사실상 막을 방법이 없습니다.

4. 그들은 어떻게 텔레그램에서 포르노 콘텐츠를 판매를 합니까? 이 메커니즘을 설명해줄 수 있습니까?
(포인트로 계산된다고 하던데) 거래금액당 가장 싼 금액과 비싼 금액은 얼마입니까?

직접 거래의 경우, 보통 추적할 수 없는 문화상품권, 가상화폐를 통해 거래한다. 이는 개인 간 거래, 운영자와 회원 간의 거래 둘다 활용되는 방식이다. 간접 거래의 경우, 텔레그램 채널의 운영자의 제휴 업체를 이용한다. 운영자 전용 링크로 불법 도박 사이트에서 결제하면, 채널 운영자에게 일정 수익이 발생한다. 최소 3만원, 최대 100만원 이상까지 확인했다.

과거 n번방 사건 때부터 텔레그램 성범죄에는 가상화폐가 가장 많이 이용되고 있다. 미성년자 가해자들의 경우 문화상품권을 많이 사용한다. 여러장의 사진이 바이트 또는 10~100개 단위로 몇만원에 팔린다. 피해자가 초등학생 정도로 어리거나 근친, 수간과 같이 찾기 어려운 영상 경우 더 비싼 금액을 받을 수 있다.

딥페이크로 원하는 사진을 만들어 줄 때에도 돈을 받고, 딥페이크 채팅방을 들어갈 때에도 돈을 받는 경우가 있습니다. 유료 채팅방들입니다. 또한 일명 ‘상위방’으로 가기 위해서는 무조건 여성 얼굴의 사진을 상납해야합니다.

5. 채팅방의 사용자들은 마음대로 사진을 전송할 수 있습니까? 아니면 혹시 채팅방의 규칙에 제한을 받는 건가요?

채팅방마다 다르다. 규칙이 있어서 “진짜”방으로 들어가려면 여성 지인의 개인정보를 공유해야 들어갈 수 있는 방도 있다. 보통 사진과 함께 이름, sns 계정, 학교 등의 개인정보를 보내며 딥페이크를 요청한다.

6. 가해자가 어떤 여성의 사진만 가지고도 동영상을 만들 수 있다면 모든 여성이 잠재적 피해자라고 할 수 있을까요?

당연하다. 단 한장의 사진만으로 여러 개의 동영상, 사진을 만들 수 있다. 그것이 딥페이크의 기술이다.
