I am deeply grateful to have this tangled tale published by @PetarPjandric & @SpringerEdu: “Rewild my heart with pedagogies of love, kindness and the sun and moon” - doi.org/10.1007/s42438…

1/ 🧵 The pressing problems we face from wars to pandemics erupt against the less dramatic background of the mundane continued destruction of our planet as a habitable realm.

We published something from a strange time:

"The Pandemic will not be on Zoom: A retrospective from the year 2050” doi.org/10.1007/s42438…

@mbrownz @donenda @BlueLilyMist1 2/9
The Pandemic will not teach you algebra when old people equal zero

The Pandemic will not prepare you for jobs that don't exist yet when jobs don't exist

The Pandemic will not give you tenure

1/ We need to talk about how we talk about online teaching 🗣️. Some loosely threaded thoughts 👇 2/ Teaching happens in a space. That space can be online or “on ground”. “On ground” is a great phrase they use in @ASU. I like it because it shifts the language away from “on campus” which infers a type of primacy on that modality.
