@davekarpf Democracy requires a super-majority, national consensus to be sustainable. The fact that 45%+ of the population, nationally voted for an anti-democratic, authoritarian regime means that our democracy is in a catastrophic state of crisis, and indeed is only being maintained by @davekarpf institutional inertia, both governing institutions, but especially industry in the form of large conglomerates, especially tech, which could well have played a decisive roll in prevent Trump from usurping the election. But also included are 'woke corporations'.

After years of searching I still haven't found a suitable replacement for the most perfect steno notebook ever made, this discontinued type from Staples. The parameters that make it so successful are:
- green tinted sheets
- very stiff front and back cardboard covers.
- a perfect number of pages and resulting thickness.
- sturdy, wire spiral spine that doesn't easily deform.
- Matt cardboard face that's nearly blank.
