"We've lost our direction as to what society should be." That line from my Coventry focus group last week has stuck with me.
The group was about the Spending Review, but there was something deeper about how we've changed how we treat each other that kept coming up. A short🧵... The standout feature from Reform’s performance in the polls is not how many votes they are winning from the Conservatives and Labour, but how many they are gaining from non-voters. 🧵 Two months ago today, we released our final voting intention poll of the General Election.

Today we are releasing the findings of our early investigations into where we think our polls did well, and where we want to improve for next time... Image Generally, we were pleased with how our polls did. Like others, we predicted that Labour would win a sizeable lead on vote share and an even larger majority in terms of seats.

And we got the vote share for Reform UK and the Conservatives essentially spot-on.
