This was an interesting article-I was one of the survey respondents (as an IPCC LA for AR6). A few things would have been helpful: a 🧵
1) a breakdown of outlooks by field. Bluntly, I grow weary of natural/physical scientists telling me how society works. They're usually wrong (as I would be if I opined on atmospheric physics). How much pessimism comes from people with little knowledge of social science?
