Major shout out to the @united #flightattendant who saved my mom’s life. My mom’s blood sugar bottomed out on her flight to Chicago. All mom could do was stumble up to the FA while deplaning and barely get out the word “help.” I want to say a huge thank you & share the story. The backstory: Mom flew from DC to Chicago yesterday. She was stressed and exhausted after having her flight cancelled the day before. The plane was small and only had one flight attendant. Mom is a type 1 diabetic could tell something was wrong. She tried glucose pills. No luck.
