the red mage change is curious cuz imo its less that there was an issue with the job and more that pf designs strats assuming casters have infinite movement and never need to get close to the boss
m6s was fucked in pf for red mage because no one is capable of being flexible
you just didn't get your 2 minute burst at the start of adds because no one to make the simple change of putting caster on the NE ray
or putting phys ranged and a healer on the rays instead of the caster

I feel like the accessibility with games thing would go a lot better if people offered real ideas for how to accommodate people with certain disabilities and not just advocate for infinite health or a "skip gameplay segment" button
Like maybe there are people with some kinda physical disability that still want to have some feeling of playing and accomplishment.
