Republicans continue to use their positions to threaten to fire a health commissioner, to fight emergency powers, to weaken public health efforts to mitigate COVID.

The one thing they don’t have is a plan to fight the virus or support workers. Minnesotans are paying the price.

Earlier this week, you had emergency surgery in Hibbing. By your own words, you received excellent care by doctors, nurses, and health care workers. That’s our job, our code, our oath.

Last night’s late ruling by the 8th Circuit Court will change the rules for counting ballots. Only ballots received by 8PM on Election Day will be counted, potentially disenfranchising some Minnesotans. (thread) Changing the rules just before the election is one more effort to suppress the vote. I want to connect about what we need to do to ensure that every vote is counted.

In seven weeks, Minnesota's kids, teachers and support staff are due back in school. There is currently no real way to go back to school safely.
