To all of you who are against Yang's version of UBI because as you say the "rich" get it or really anyone not at or below poverty level.

You are missing one of the main reasons it is being proposed in the first place.

Automation. Truck drivers make about 50k plus. As well as other occupations that will be automated. Radiologists, retail workers, call center jobs, contract lawyers etc.

Everyone impacted will need extra resources coming in to prepare for their next steps.

It is not meant to live on or replace previous income but intended
