Portuguese woman šµš¹ who had applied in Feb 2020 and was still waiting on a decision. Said she already called the Resolution Centre and was told her application was still being processed. She didn't know what to do about this delay, so came to GYROS for advice. 2/9

We recently undertook an FOI to the Home Office asking about the EUSS Paper Application route. Below, and overview of our findings, incl. outcomes of apps, nationalities of those applying and age + gender breakdown šš§µ1/10
Gender: 59% of applicants via the paper route were women š meaning women are disproportionately impacted by refusals under this route. 2/10

The site was down meaning case workers could not help some clients to make their application. This will cause delays and made people who will need to rely on the digital status in the future anxious about its reliability. 2/8
