You might not know it, but in 2019, a total of 100 Westminster MPs voted to keep abortion illegal in Northern Ireland.
Don't, for even a second, think these people wouldn't try and do the same thing here.
So, for your convenience, here's a list of every single one of them:
Steve Baker (Conservative - Wycombe)
Henry Bellingham (Conservative - North West Norfolk)
Paul Beresford (Conservative - Mole Valley)
Bob Blackman (Conservative - Harrow East)
Peter Bone (Conservative - Wellingborough)
Suella Braverman (Conservative - Fareham)

I don’t think I’ve ever felt as hopeless about British politics as I do right now.
We’ve got a pathologically over-entitled manbaby holed up in Number 10 - a conniving coward who’s shamelessly spewed lie after lie directly into the face of the British people,
and whose only real function is to simply maintain the very system which allows Eton-educated eejits like him and his elite chums to continue hoarding wealth and power for themselves. A man who conned his way into power by promising the impossible,

🚨NEW: A Unite source tells Evolve that Howard Beckett offered to withdraw from the leadership race if Sharon Graham and Steve Turner could to decide amongst themselves which one would run.
However, they both refused the proposal outright.
A bizarre and intriguing development.
Evolve have since contacted both @SteveT_Unite and @UniteSharon for a response.
We will let you know as soon as we receive anything.

The first lockdown was unavoidable. Barely anyone disputes it. We've never had to deal with something like this in modern times.
But lockdowns aren't a cure - they're a stop-gap measure to give governments time to devise long-term strategies in order to avoid another.

The Tories themselves said a second national lockdown would be a disaster - and they were entirely right.
But that's exactly where we'll find ourselves again next week.
However, this time around, there is absolutely nobody to blame but the people in power.

So, late last night, major news was leaked to two newspapers that the government is set to announce a new full national lockdown on Monday because deaths were soaring and they had clearly lost control of the virus.
[Thread]
The news comes despite the Tories repeatedly insisting they wouldn't have to implement another national lockdown because their £12Bn Test and Trace system was supposedly working perfectly fine (it isn't) and localised measures would be enough to control the virus (they aren't).

Since lockdown in March, Evolve have lost thousands in ad revenue and many subscribers have had to cancel due to their own insecure finances.
A new national lockdown will make it extremely tough for us to survive.
Why would Keir Starmer settle a case that Labour's lawyers said the party would win? And why would he choose to spend members' dues on compensation to people who might not have been owed it?
As Corbyn says, the reason can only be political.
Firstly, Starmer is clearly hoping that the decision will draw a line under the antisemitism story once and for all.
If he decided to pursue the case, he would have been relentlessly attacked by both the Labour right and the vast majority of the media.

Keir Starmer received £25,000 from Baron Clive Hollick.
Hollick was a former Special Advisor to Peter Mandelson, a founding backer of the New Labour IPPR thinktank, and the former Chief Executive of the Daily Express newspaper.
Oh wow.
To all those saying "the Tories wouldn't privatise the NHS! Why would they want to?":
Well, here's a thread of every British asset, industry and public service the Tories have privatised:

* International Computers Limited (1979)
* Lunn Poly (1971)
* Rolls-Royce Motors (1973)
* State Management Scheme (1973)
* Thomas Cook (1972)
* British Aerospace (1981, 1985)
