2 years ago, I submitted my doctoral thesis, entitled “What are adult mental health services doing to improve outcomes for Black service users? A mixed method analysis of Black Psychologists’ perspectives and UK mental health trust data” read it here: repository.uel.ac.uk/download/b0988… The results were disturbing, but unsurprising. I also found the process of carrying out the research, the write up and the viva extremely traumatic.
