I've had a little cough & cold; so I decided to get an RT-PCR test done for Covid-19.

Usually, I book tests from one of these mainstream apps like 1mg. To my surprise, none of these apps were allowing me to make a booking for my pincode. (1/n) This was strange. So, I call Dr Lal Path Labs & they inform me that my area is not serviceable for home collection. Rejections poured in from thyrocare, Apollo, and so on..

This was perplexing given that I've never faced dearth of any mainstream services in Jaipur so far. (2/n)

Mixed feelings on the approval of two vaccines in India. Happy to see India finally get going on vaccines, but serious doubt over the process & evidence used.
