By delegitimizing mail-in ballots Trump is shooting himself in the foot. According to the latest @nytimes data, +54m voted absentee in this election. 24m (44%) of those votes were cast for Trump. Are only mail-in votes cast for his opponent fraudulent? /1 ImageImage If you delegitimize legitimate votes and undermine democracy everyone loses. On avg. absentee votes across the country even leaned towards Trump. It was only in population centers where absentee ballots leaned towards Biden (which ultimately caused the blue shift and his win). /2 Image
