I went through the foundational labs I track as a woman optimizing for longevity.

Standard bloodwork catches disease. This list catches early biological dysfunction, years before a diagnosis ever shows up.

Here is what I look at and why.

Full episode linked at the end. Image Only 6% of Americans are metabolically healthy. Six percent.

Metabolic dysfunction is largely silent early on. You don't wake up one day with type 2 diabetes, the warning signs are visible in your bloodwork years beforehand if you know what to look for.

This is where I start with every panel.

1/ The ovary is the fastest-aging organ in the female body. And almost no one is studying why.I just sat down with @BBParis1984 (@USCLeonardDavis ), who runs one of the only labs in the world mapping ovarian aging.
A few things from our conversation I can't stop thinking about: 2/ Myth: menopause happens because women "run out" of eggs.

We're born with far more oocytes than we'd ever need for a lifetime. Menopause happens because the remaining eggs become less sensitive to FSH, so the ovary can no longer recruit them.

Your home might be your biggest health blind spot . I designed our home for health optimization and longevity.

Here's a thread on what we did and why it matters - room by room. 1/ LIGHTING: Every bulb in the house is zero-flicker with circadian settings.

Flicker is invisible to the naked eye but can add stress to the brain over time. At night, the entire home goes orange to protect melatonin production.

I own $296,000 worth of anti-aging technology as part of my plan to reach 120.

Here’s everything I use, what it does, and the free alternative for each one (THREAD):

1. Sauna > Anything else on this list This is the first investment I recommend to anyone.

Clinical research backs it for reducing your risk of dementia, cardiovascular disease, and chronic stress.

(free alternative: take a hot bath).
