The more a woman writes, says, or otherwise insists that her husband is "actually an amazing father, no I don't mind or even notice his cruelty or apathy, he's just a silly Man (TM) he's actually a wonderful man," the more she's being abused. This sort of cognitive dissonance and clear defensiveness/dishonesty can only result from the fact that the woman is in a situation where she HAS to lie to herself in order to continue living and caring for her children.

"You won't get a man if you're [fat, over 25, have a career, a feminist, have basic standards, want to be treated like a human being, etc]" is a nonsensical fear-mongering tactic that can only exist in a society where males abuse, exploit, & coerce women.

I call this type of thing Manfiction: When men make up fanfiction about women, come up with elaborate narratives that have no basis in reality, and then get enraged on the basis of the narrative that they made up.

This thread is about how postmodernism in the west (and especially in western academia) has been detrimental to women.

I don't usually talk about the trans debate or whatever because usually the focus on it is misplaced; women have more severe issues that need to be dealt with. However, the one major problem that accompanies the trans debate is the nonsensical idea that biological sex either doesn't exist or is a spectrum or is irrelevant.

I have never met a straight adult man who voluntarily reads fiction in my entire life, except for English teachers.
