Why following leaders were against SECULAR word in Constitution:

Dr Ambedkar: It is not a mechanism where by particular members or particular parties are installed in office... It cannot be laid down in Constitution itself, because that is destroying democracy altogether. 2/4
Nehru Ji: Secularism isn't a happy word but a possible source of dogma.

Sardar Patel: Sardar Patel hasn't stated any particular argument for or against having Secular Constitution. For Sardar Patel Secularism Was India meaning there was no need to put in Constitution.
