Torture for Dummies: Every day that goes by, the risk of death and irreversible damage increases. Every hour, every minute, every meal or not-meal, every second of sleep deprivation... now the presence of COVID19. To delay reporting of UK corruption in Assange case is complicity. Kristinn Hrafnsson is a friend / colleague / co-speaker with Nils Melzer. HE KNOWS THAT TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. PROLONGING TORTURE IS CRUEL AND INHUMANE. To be passive is to be complicit. @doctors4Assange

I may make myself available for questions on my article this week if anyone is interested. It outlines the lengths the UK and US has gone to detain and torture Julian Assange for 10 yrs with cooperation of Sweden, Ecuador and Australia. Read: medium.com/@judefleming/b… As an interviewee (guest) I appreciate turn-taking in the Question and Answer dynamics of an interview. That is, please be polite, keep questions brief without loaded myths or lies about Assange. I cannot tolerate GaslightingAssange questions. So you may not want to interview me.

Latest letter from @Doctors4Assange make it clear that if Assange is left to die in Belmarsh, without due process, as a torture victim Australia is a co-conspirator in his intentional murder along with the UK and US, Ecuador and Sweden. READ: doctorsassange.org/doctors-for-as…

FREEASSANGE Assange will be repatriated to Australia.

He will be either alive, and in health crisis fighting serious illness,

or

Dead. In a coffin.

Australia must act now to negotiate his immediate evacuation.

When Assange is put in the equivalent of a fish tank in a court room b/c he is a prisoner at a Category A prison, and the judge says he has to be in the tank b/c he's a Cat. A prisoner, it's an illogical, circular argument. GaslightingAssange+Team When Assange is put in the fish tank, he has as much of a voice as a fish in the tank. When he protests this, the judge basically says (redux): It's not that bad, we'll work around your issues with it, but won't budge on this dehumanising practice. We'll stretch out the hearing.

Hello from Canada @OxleasNHS! I recently found out that your org is responsible for delivering healthcare at @hmpbelmarsh in London. I am *gravely* concerned about the mental health status of Mr. Julian Assange who is in the healthcare wing and a victim of UK gov't torture. I am not being hyperbolic or conflating my concern. The @UN Rapporteur on Torture @nilsmelzer conducted a formal visit with Mr. Assange in May 2019 along with 2 medical professionals. His conclusions are alarming. Please contact @nilsmelzer on an urgent basis. Thank you. ~jude

Thread: Dear @hmpbelmarsh

I have heard that Julian Assange is emaciated, isolated, not allowed to mingle with other inmates or workers passing by his single cell in the health wing, unable to work on defending himself legally and is in extremely rough shape. Please help. I understand that the Prison warden / governor would want to punish other inmates for taking a video of Mr. Assange which was later posted online... but it is exacerbating the psychological torture and physical challenges he faces daily. He should not be punished for the video.

According to the @UN note on principle of non-refoulement, "The absence of formal recognition as a refugee does not preclude that the person concerned possesses refugee status and is therefore protected by the principle of non-refoulement." FreeAssange Therefore, it does not matter whether or not the UK recognizes Assange as a refugee as Ecuador did for approx. 6 yrs. ASSANGE IS A REFUGEE who requires safe passage to a safe country where his life, liberty, right to due process and no torture are respected.

It is no surprise that after subjecting Julian Assange to 9 mo.s of isolation, on the Eve of his 8th yr of Arbitrary Detention (@UN decision), Ecuador's president Moreno makes a new bid to expel him from asylum into the clutches of the US. (Thread) Just as Eric Holder offered assurances to Russia regarding Snowden that he would not face the death penalty or torture, Ecuador's president is conflating the UK's assurances that it won't extradite Assange if he risks death penalty.

In 2 days (Dec. 1) Assange will be invoiced to continue his asylum in Ecuador's London UK embassy. Thread to follow. I know that Assange + Wikileaks supporters will commit to a WikileaksWednesday Giving day on an urgent basis. Here are some points on the new Special Protocol In view of budget cuts, the Embassy will not be able to pay any expenses of food, medical care, laundry or other expenses related to the stay of Mr. Julian Assange as of December 1, 2018. donate: iamwikileaks.org

That shocking moment when you realize, "There really *is* a monster under the bed."

Assange has an aversion to the US meat-grinder monster of injustice.

He is right to fear such a reaper.
But now everyone knows he's right. As of last night...

The plausibility that Assange's life + liberty are in peril and that he faces possible cruel/inhumane torture is great.

Anyone who says he is free to walk out of the embassy needs to complete the sentence with "into the jaws of US injustice".

In 17 days, Ecuador will launch its Commissary or invoicing to Assange for his "stay" at the embassy in London. A few thoughts...

Dec 1, 2018 is day one of the "tab" or invoicing.
It is part of the "Special Protocols" which Assange has contested in court (pending decision) As of Dec 1, 2018 Assange will have to pay for a bunch of things that he has not had to pay for over the duration of the 6 yrs he has been a political refugee, under Ecuador's protection.
New charges or fees: Wi-fi, medical visits and reports, incidentals that Ecuador wants

If Assange is taken into UK custody, there is absolutely no basis for him nor his lawyers to trust in a perverted process of justice. The UK has coralled and kept him caged for 8 yrs. He will be rendered to US + go into a black hole worse than death. judefleming.wordpress.com/2018/09/10/dam… The world must condemn the targeted and protracted attack on Assange and Wikileaks.
