I'm not going to write about the DeMar DeRozan rumors but I'll say a few things on here b/c I have a moment... DeRozan is not the player I'd pursue if trying to upgrade that position. I'd much rather target more of a two-way player who also offers scoring punch and some playmaking. There's a guy like that in Indy, for example, who could be available.

Their P&R coverage was especially poor and inconsistent. They went under some screens & over on others, played too soft in drop coverage, and ended up in no-man's land way too often. This was especially damaging vs. Mitchell who easily got into the paint + generated easy shots. Further, defensively, they lacked effort & communication way too often. Rotations were missed or not made. Two players ended up going to the same player & left gaping holes that a team like Utah that will move the ball on you easily took advantage of.

Some quick thoughts on random LeBron stuff that I don't want to actually write a post on... I don't care *why* LeBron chose the Lakers, who gets credit or doesn't, or anything else related to it. He chose the Lakers and everyone is just going to have to deal. If you want to psychoanalyze it that's on you, but it doesn't matter. I feel the same way about Paul George.

A couple of Paul Goerge thoughts... 1. Credit the Thunder who clearly understood what factors would matter to George & surely worked those angles in the past 12 months.
