All abortion laws are anti abortion at their core. Abortion is exceptionalised because at heart most people still believe the pregnant person is sulliedand the pregnancy is a perfect new being. They forget to account for the full affect and interdependence of the pregnant person
The failures in this case are of a medical system that is being stretched to uselessness. England currently has a THREE WEEK delay in consultation times for abortion in some areas. In England that three weeks can make a big difference to access. The service is being undermined…
